FAQ

Common Questions

Tap a question to see the answer.

Why does a custom website cost $3,000?
Because it's actually custom — designed and coded from scratch for your specific business, not a template with your name swapped in. You're paying for real work that results in a faster, better site that you fully own. Compared to agencies that charge $8,000–$20,000+ for the same thing, $3,000 is competitive for the quality you get.
What's the difference between a redesign and a new build?
A redesign starts from your existing site — I keep your content and branding but rebuild it from scratch with a modern, mobile-first design, faster load times, and cleaner code. It usually runs $1,500–$3,000 depending on how big and complex your current site is. A new build ($3,000) is a fresh website designed from the ground up. Not sure which you need? Reach out and I'll tell you honestly.
Do I have to pay the $30/month?
No. The monthly plan is completely optional. It covers hosting and ongoing maintenance — if you'd rather host it yourself or just want the files, that's totally fine. You still get the full website build for $3,000 either way.
What if I need more than 5 pages?
We can add more pages — just reach out and I'll quote extra pages individually based on how complex they are. Usually it's a reasonable flat rate per additional page.
Will my site work on phones?
Yes, always. Mobile responsiveness is non-negotiable — every site I build is tested on phones, tablets, and desktops before it ships. You can even see how responsive design works on my Learn page.
How long does it take?
Most projects are done in 1–3 weeks depending on scope and how quickly you can provide content (logo, text, photos). I'll give you a realistic timeline upfront — no vague "6–8 week" estimates.
Can I see examples of your work first?
Absolutely. Visit the Projects page to see live sites I've built — every link goes to the real, working website.
What do you need from me to get started?
Just reach out and tell me about your business and what you're looking for. I'll ask a few questions, give you an honest scope and timeline, and we go from there. No commitment required to have that first conversation.
